At Winnipeg Inner City Missions, education is a big part of our goals for 2023.

We have informational brochures about our Flora House Children’s Program, Anishinabe Fellowship Centre, and A Place of Hope Housing Program. As well as educational brochures on the variety of barriers our inner-city community faces: Intergenerational Trauma, The Cycle of Poverty, Complex Poverty, and Housing as a Fundamental Right.

If you want to share some or all of these brochures with your community or business, please fill out the form below for more information!

We will provide brochures and acrylic stands at no cost to you.

“The reconciliation process is important for all Canadians because it’s about the basics of how we treat each other as fellow human beings and the kind of relationships and communities we want to build for the future.”

– Reconciliation Canada Ambassador Chief  Dr. Robert Joseph

As active partners in Winnipeg’s inner city it is essential to have Truth and Reconciliation at the forefront of our goals. At WICM, Truth and Reconciliation is ongoing, active, and with the input of local Indigenous people and communities.

Calls to Action

In order to redress the legacy of residential schools and advance the process of Canadian reconciliation, the Truth and Reconciliation Commission makes 94 calls to action.
