Where We’re All Friends
Centered around literacy, nutrition and overall well-being, children and youth receive guidance and mentorship from our adult supervisors through the Learning Through Play Model.
Flora House is our after school children’s program for youth ages 8 – 13. Our children from the inner-city participate in a safe and inclusive environment enjoying activities including art programming, parkland adventures, literacy, and traditional teachings.
Flora House kids are encouraged to participate in activities that promote healthy living and take part in field trips that expand their knowledge of the community and the opportunities that await them.
After School Program
Flora House kids are provided with assistance with school and encouraged to focus on activities that encourage a healthier lifestyle. Each day takes a different learning focus such as:
- Indigenous Teachings
- Music and Art
- Computer Skills
The after school program is offered to children and youth ages 6-13.
Monday to Friday 3:30 PM to 7 PM
September to June

Summer Day Camp
Children and youth participate in a variety of daily activities and local outings. Each day a healthy lunch and snack will be provided.
The Summer Day Camp is for ages 6-13 years.
Hours: 10 AM to 6:00 PM July-August for 7 weeks
