Where We’re Growing Together

Located at 287 Laura Street, the Indigenous Arts & Cultural Centre will be a hub of local artistry, culinary expertise, and cultural opportunities. With support from Indigenous artists living and working in the community, the IACC will offer opportunities for community members to learn and grow in all ways.

Where You’re Home

A Place of Hope is home to our transitional housing residence, our First Steps to Independence Program, and our Mentorship and Home Suite Home programs.

First Steps Program:

Where Opportunities Happen

The First Steps to Independence Program is an integral part of our residential facility at 415 Logan Avenue for individuals who are seeking stability within a supportive environment. We provide opportunities for residents to develop skills leading to fulfilling employment and furthering education.

The Mentorship Program offers residents of A Place of Hope entry level job placements to help grow their resume and expand their experience. WICM will provide meaningful, relevant references for residents as they seek new employment opportunities.

Our support program for those transitioning into stable housing.

Flora House:

Where We’re All Friends

Flora House is our after school children’s program for youth ages 8 through 12. Our children from the inner-city participate in a safe and inclusive environment enjoying activities including art programming, parkland adventures, and traditional teachings.
